Being able to bring it back to beautiful Los Feliz Community! certainly is quite an achievement for anyone to be part of what we think will be a tremendously busy year end seasons coming up for Vintage Land. I do feel excited .
can only see great things for your Vintage Land at this new location , and we are absolutely eager to take part in furthering that success. …. Without further a -Do, Our Story:

A little over a decade ago, my attorney sister worked with an Osaka native, her name being Aiko. They became friends and Aiko introduced my sister to the artisan culture of Kyoto.
Needless to say, she was quite intrigued and ever so inspired by the vintage heirloom hand braided silk craftsmanship of Kyoto. Aiko's parents used to run Japanese gift stores aimed towards tourist in the Osaka and Kyoto regions. Specifically numerous upon numerous fine "Kumihimo" braided items and Kimono accessories such as the "Obijime" silk braided belts directly from Kyoto and Osaka.
Bitter-sweetly, Aiko had to travel back to Japan and permanently close up her parents stores and moved back to Osaka. Store items were eventually all sold to my sister and later to be stored away for the time being.
Since, my sister , my daughter, and I have only been excited and grateful to be able to repurpose these beautiful silk braids into wearable bracelets, anklets, and charms which are extremely friendly-low priced just so everyone in states too can now appreciate and enjoy the wonders and the art and soul of Kyoto through these special, unique, and one of a kind artisan hand crafted gifts , including vintage silk kimono purses, Cute antique wooden Kokeshi dolls , and hand drawn-painted art work by art students through Osaka and Kyoto to support spreading awareness of the Youth mental well being including Child abuse awareness, which are heavily overlooked and immensely unknown to the general world public.
