Vendor Terms & Conditions
Los Feliz Flea · Originally adopted 2021 · Republished August 10, 2026
These Vendor Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your application to vend, and your participation as an approved vendor, at markets and events operated by Los Feliz Flea ("we," "us," "the Market"). By submitting a vendor application — and again upon being approved as a vendor — you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Application & Approval
Los Feliz Flea is a curated market. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or booth placement. We may approve, decline, or revoke vendor status at our sole discretion, including for fit with the market's curation standards.
2. Non-Compete
By applying to, and by being approved as a vendor of, Los Feliz Flea, you agree that while you hold vendor status (including any active booth license) and for twelve (12) months after it ends, you will not, directly or indirectly:
- open, launch, operate, or manage a flea market, night market, vintage market, or other outdoor/rooftop marketplace that competes with Los Feliz Flea within Los Angeles County;
- act as an organizer, promoter, partner, investor, or consultant for such a competing market; or
- solicit or recruit Los Feliz Flea vendors, staff, or venue partners to participate in a competing market.
Selling your own goods as an ordinary vendor at other markets or events is not restricted — this section applies to organizing or operating a competing market, not to vending elsewhere. Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination of vendor status and forfeiture of booth fees, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
3. Booths, Fees & Cancellations
Booth bookings, licenses, and rentals are subject to the pricing, payment, and cancellation policies presented at the time of booking. Booth assignments may be adjusted by the Market for layout, safety, or curation reasons.
4. Conduct, Compliance & Permits
Vendors are responsible for their own sales, taxes, and any required permits or licenses (including seller's permits and, for food vendors, county health permits). Vendors must comply with venue rules, load-in/load-out instructions, and staff directions, and conduct themselves professionally with guests and fellow vendors.
5. Communications Policy
Market logistics are coordinated over SMS and email. You must remain subscribed to our SMS and email communications to keep your vendor account active; unsubscribing automatically deactivates your account. You can reactivate by contacting us.
6. Liability
Vendors participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own goods, equipment, and booth setup. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Los Feliz Flea is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged vendor property, or for weather-related or venue-related cancellations beyond our published cancellation policies.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation as a vendor after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
