Fulfill online orders and understand earnings
Process paid shipments and pickup orders, handle refunds/restocking deliberately, and read the seller reporting correctly.
Steps
- 1
Open marketplace Orders
Use Orders in seller navigation, not the event Orders tab on My Account. Open the order and check its payment and fulfillment states before dispatching goods.
Open seller Orders → - 2
Ship a paid shipping order
Check the order destination and shipping method. Use the shipping fulfillment form, enter the actual carrier/tracking details and save the shipment action. Do not mark pickup orders shipped or treat a pending payment as paid.
- 3
Handle pickup separately
For a pickup order, confirm the saved collection instructions and use the pickup ready/picked-up actions available on the order. Mark ready only when prepared and picked up only after handover. Pickup has no shipping charge; other order charges may remain.
- 4
Refund with care
Use the order’s refund controls and confirmation, entering the intended amount/reason. A submitted or pending refund is not confirmed success: wait for the reported provider status. The refund cannot exceed the remaining refundable balance.
- 5
Restock only when appropriate
Use Restock items (once) only for unshipped orders that are cancelled or fully refunded. Refunds do not automatically restore stock. This control is not a shipped-return inventory workflow; contact staff about stock corrections for returned deliveries.
- 6
Read Dashboard earnings
Dashboard has date-range filters and Collected, Collected less refunds, Net earnings and Paid orders. Collected includes shipping/tax. Net includes commission and actual Stripe fees; unknown fees are Pending, not estimated. Refunds are attributed to their original sale cohort. The live default commission appears below; your assigned vendor rate and actual order snapshot take precedence.
Open Dashboard → - 7
Review saved delivery and refund policies
Shipping & refunds summarizes rates, pickup, tax, policies and order actions. A customer-paid marketplace service fee is distinct from seller commission and Stripe processing. Check the order breakdown rather than subtracting the public default from your bank payout.

Good to know
- One marketplace order belongs to one vendor. Your event/store-credit ledger is a different system.
- A fully refunded order and an undelivered order are different facts; confirm fulfillment before promising a return or restock.
Questions
Are refunds self-service for shoppers?
No. Shoppers contact the seller and follow shop policy. Sellers/staff use controlled order tools and provider confirmation.
Does pickup avoid commission or tax?
No. Pickup avoids shipping charges; applicable commission, tax and customer service fees remain separate.
Why does Net earnings say Pending?
Actual provider fees are not yet confirmed for all relevant payments. The dashboard deliberately does not invent the missing amounts.
